NextGen Junior Tennis Coaching (pre-Interclub) is a 12-session programme for children aged 5 (turning 5 by 31 December 2026) through to 13 years, held on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings across Term 4 (2026) and Term 1 (2027).

 

The programme costs $140 in total, with 30-minute sessions that allow for public holidays and rain delays. Families can choose either the Wednesday course (3:30–5pm) or the Saturday course (8:30–11am).

 

Children are placed in small groups of up to six with others of similar ability and coached with red, orange, and green dot balls. The focus is on progressively developing skills to prepare them for Junior Interclub, similar to the former "Hotshots" programme.

After registrations close, you will be emailed your child’s allocated timeslot. Younger children are usually scheduled earlier, though placements may vary depending on ability.

Moving to Interclub:  If your child has previously had tennis lessons (usually in green dot ball group) and wishes to move up to Interclub this year, please see the Interclub information and contact the Junior Administrator. Interclub registration is also now open and closes 6 Sept 2026.
